Janice Bothwell BSc (hons) RVN K-SQP

Janice initially joined the practice in the autumn of 2010 to provide cover for a period of maternity leave, after which she left to fulfill her dream of  travelling around the world.  We managed to persuade her to return in 2012, where she re-joined the nursing team, this time based at our Lutterworth branch.  She has plans to develop nursing clinics and follow her interest in nursing support for the farm vets.

Hollie joined the practice as a receptionist/auxiliary in 2011, moving on to study as a nurse, and qualifying in 2014.

Debbie & Millie b

Debbie started her nursing career in 2009, coming to us with experience of animal care gained in her involvement in two animal charities.  She went on to gain her Level 2 Certificate for Animal Nursing Assistants, before embarking on her Veterinary Nursing studies, qualifying in 2015.  Debbie has two horses Coral and CD, staffie Millie and guinea pig Freddie.

Tom Mitchell BVMS MRCVS

Tom Mitchell joined the practice in 1999 and has been based at the expanding Lutterworth branch since joining the practice, becoming a partner in 2003 along with Helen and Belinda after the retirement of the previous principal. Tom now heads up the farm animal team from the Lutterworth branch and consults at Lutterworth most evenings, and at Broughton Astley on Saturdays on a rota basis.

Helen Robinson BVSc MRCVS

Helen qualified from Bristol University Vet School in 1991 and worked in mixed practices in Somerset and Lancashire before coming to Broughton Astley in 1996.  She became a partner in the practice in 2003 on the retirement of the previous practice principal.  Helen has a keen interest and wide experience in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery.  She and Belinda share the running of the small animal side of the practice at Broughton Astley, whilst also providing cover to the Lutterworth branch and farm animal team as required.  Helen works Tuesdays, Thursdays, alternate Fridays, and some Saturday mornings.

Belinda McGrane BVetMed MRCVS

Belinda qualified from London Vet School in 1990 and after 2 years in very rural west Wales, she moved to a mixed practice north of Leicester.  After 6 years she moved to be nearer her now husband, and joined the practice at Broughton Astley.  After the birth of her first child in 2001, Belinda started working part-time, and now works at the Broughton Astley surgery on Mondays, Wednesdays, alternate Fridays, and some Saturdays.

Hannah Morrison BVSc MRCVS

Hannah Morrison joined us in March 2011 as a mixed vet working from our Lutterworth branch.  Originating from Northern Ireland, Hannah has taken a slightly different route to Leicestershire, going to University in New Zealand and spending 3 years in mixed practice in Queensland Australia.
