A New Grad Or Two

Looking for your first small animal only challenge, then a job here at Broughton Veterinary Group may be just for you. Our excellent first opinion clinics are based in south Leicestershire in the East midlands, this is a thriving area with great motorway and rail links to Birmingham, London and Leicester city centres for shopping and night life. The overall area is semi-rural with Lutterworth and Broughton Astley giving the smalltown vibe, great for families, with good schools and plenty of activities as well as providing some great places to eat, drink and unwind. All this and the ability to escape off the beaten track and enjoy scenic walks through the local villages.   

Why are we recruiting?  EXPANSION, our clinic is growing, with the doubling of one of our sites to create a brand new clinic opening later this year/early next year.  

Who are we looking for? A proactive small animal vet, an enthusiastic team player, who is keen to learn and develop themselves as well as the practice.  

What can we provide? A hugely experienced team which offers a wealth of expertise. Visiting veterinarians to assist with both case management and team development. A nursing team that are focused on animal care and providing the complete service to both staff and clients. A reception team that works hard on providing the best client journey.  Our leadership team are passionate about employee welfare and strive to create a supportive and enjoyable place to work.  For the right candidate, we are happy to offer flexibility of working hours to accommodate individual circumstances, this position could be filled by a number of part time personnel or a full-time role (40 hour working week). 

There is also the VetPartners New graduate development scheme, which gives you additional CPD, a chance to get together with other new graduates to discuss the highs and lows of your first job, all whilst continuing your learning journey.    

We have the usual toys, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, ultrasound including cardiology package, endoscopy, in house biochemistry and haematology and cytology.  

A laugh, a joke and wacky dancing available most days along with a visiting coffee van.

Senior Veterinarian Desired

Who are we looking for? A proactive senior small animal vet, an enthusiastic team player, who is keen to get their teeth into the challenge of an expanding business. The role will involve general clinical work, staff training, welfare and development, assisting the clinical director in developing and marketing of the new clinic, as well as the day to day running of each branch.  Certificate holders or willingness to work towards a certificate is an advantage but not essential.
